GHOST’S COVER OF IT’S A SIN AVAILABLE NOW
As Chapter 24 of their wildly popular webisode series launches (“Frater is Delegating”), GHOST has unearthed a dusty gem and made its cover of Pet Shop Boys’ “It’s a Sin” available to stream across DSPs for the first time (Listen | Watch). Previously available only as a 7” vinyl bonus single in deluxe editions of GHOST’s 2018 album, Prequelle, the GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock icons’ version of the Pet Shop Boys classic makes good on the song’s co-writer Neil Tennant’s assertion that “’It’s a Sin’, at its heart, is a heavy metal record.”
In other news, GHOST’s “Lachryma” is nominated for a Best Metal Performance at the 2026 GRAMMY Awards. If it wins, it will be GHOST’s second GRAMMY following “Cirice” winning in the same category in 2016.
Finally, GHOST’s SKELETOUR TOUR will kick off a run of 20 new North American rituals beginning January 21 at the Kia Center in Orlando, FL and running through February 23 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. GTV will be on hand for the festivities at every stop, capturing the passionate intensity of the GHOST fanbase that moved THE NEW YORK TIMES to comment, «a sense of devotion was palpable among fans. Showgoers streamed out of Penn Station dressed in Ghost-themed costumes, including skeletal face paint, papal robes and nun habits…”
The SKELETOUR TOUR has featured the live debut of songs from SKELETÁ, GHOST’s sixth psalm and first to reach #1 on the Billboard 200. Released April 25, 2025 via Loma Vista Recordings, SKELETÁ’s chart debut marked the first time a hard rock album had gone #1 in the US since 2020 — and also saw #1 debuts in the GHOST’s native Sweden as well as Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and Finland. The coming of SKELETÁ was heralded by three singles/videos that trended Top 10 on YouTube, as GHOST garnered #1 spots on TikTok’s #NewMusic, iTunes and Amazon’s Best Sellers. First up was “Satanized”—dubbed a “catchy goth-rock epic” by VICE, followed by the “Lachryma”—a fixture on Spotify’s Viral Charts, both globally and in key territories like the US, UK, Germany, and more deemed “economical, vicious, and contemporary, but tinged by ‘80s rhapsody” by PASTE and “phantasmagoric” by REVOLVER, and “Peacefield,” the monolithic anthem opening both the new record and GHOST’s massive 2025 live rituals.
Having sold half a million tickets and counting, the SKELETOUR TOUR continues a North American swing that included GHOST’s historic first-ever sold-out headlining show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Continuing a tradition that «demonstrated just how simple, and wonderful, a screenless concert can be” (BOSTON GLOBE), SKELETOUR TOUR 2026 will be a phone-free experience. Phones will be secured in Yondr pouches. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times.

Orbit Culture Release Live Video For «The Storm» + North American Tour Starts 2/18
Right before embarking on their next quest — an extensive tour throughout USA and Canada with support coming from Ov Sulfur and Atlas — ORBIT CULTURE are releasing a live video for the fan-favorite «The Storm,» which was filmed by Riivata Visuals and Grimvisions during their highly successful European tour last winter.
Watch the video here.
The band comments, «This video for ‘The Storm’ documents our last headline tour. Most of the footage was shot in Gothenburg, close to where we come from. Watching it now brings us back to a night that carried real weight — intense, focused, and honest. It was a defining moment for us, and ‘The Storm’
reflects that feeling without needing to explain it.»
It marks another video for their acclaimed album Death Above Life that was released to overwhelmingly positive feedback by fans and media in October of last year.
«The album represents change, a new beginning,» says guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Niklas Karlsson. «It brings up a lot of good and bad emotions but it’s a big change for the better. It feels like a rebirth.»
Catch them on the upcoming dates, posted below.

Acclaimed Texas Alt-Rock Band SPARTA Stream New Documentary, «Scenic Drive,» Today Via VEEPS; Information On New Album To Be Announced Soon
VEEPS and Sparta have announced the world premiere of Scenic Drive, the acclaimed El Paso, TX-based alt-rock band’s brand new documentary. Premiering today, Thursday, February 12, Scenic Drive finds frontman Jim Ward taking a road trip — literally and figuratively — through the past while also looking forward to the future. Shot in stark, striking black and white, the film follows Ward back home in El Paso, retracing the steps, both small and significant, that he took there in his youth, alongside those he’s taking now.
One thing all humans have the unique ability to do is look back. In Scenic Drive, Ward heads steadily towards the forthcoming Sparta record by revisiting songs from earlier in the band’s career. It serves as an acknowledgement that even though he’s moving on to what he calls a new volume in his and the band’s life, the past will never not be there. The result is 40 striking, stirring, moving minutes that capture the poetry of life — of older eyes looking back on younger years — as time continues to steadily march on, the way time always does.
Join the global premiere of Sparta’s Scenic Drive, taking place today over at VEEPSHERE. A limited edition Scenic Drive t-shirt and bundle is also available for pre-order now via VEEPS. Use code 5OFF when purchasing a ticket & shirt in the same transaction for $5 off your order.
And stay tuned for more information on the forthcoming studio album from Sparta to be announced in the coming weeks.
