SOMBR Releases New Single «Homewrecker» with Official Music Video Today

Published

on

Following a standout debut performance at the 68th annual GRAMMY® Awards on Sunday, SOMBR shares a brand new single, titled “Homewrecker” (Warner Records), his first release since his critically acclaimed, chart-topping 2025 debut album I Barely Know Her. Written and co-produced by the GRAMMY® nominated multi-hyphenated artist, “Homewrecker” arrives with an official music video starring Quenlin Blackwell and Milo Manheim. Listen HERE and watch HERE

Directed by Gus Black (Phoebe Bridgers, Laufey), the “Homewrecker” music video brings the song’s relatably messy feelings to life. In the visual, SOMBR and Blackwell, cast in a Western film helmed by a short-tempered director played by Manheim, we see tensions rise and the lines between pretend and real life blurred — leading to a high-noon-style western showdown.

Once again, SOMBR is the sole writer and co-producer of his latest song, underscoring the weight of this talent. In addition to his Best New ArtistGRAMMY® nomination, he’s currently up for two prestigious BRIT AwardsInternational Artist of the Year, and International Song of the Year for undressed.” Meanwhile, back to friends has claimed the #1 spot at Top 40 Radio

In November, SOMBR made his Saturday Night Live debut, where he played 12 to 12 and back to friends.” That appearance landed between sold-out tours across North America — with most venues being upgraded — and Australia/New Zealand. Next week, he embarks on a sold-out UK/EU run before returning stateside for Coachella. See below for all upcoming dates.

I Barely Know Her was written entirely by SOMBR and co-produced by him alongside the legendary Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, The Replacements). A New York City native raised on the Lower East Side, he started making songs in his bedroom while studying classical music at LaGuardia High School.

Andrea Bocelli Performs ‘Nessun Dorma’ at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games 2026

Published

on

Last night, Maestro Andrea Bocelli, one of the most celebrated voices in music, delivered a breathtaking performance of his iconic “Nessun Dorma” at the Olympic Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The performance was a standout moment during the star-studded ceremony, as Bocelli took the stage just after the President of the Italian Republic officially declared the Olympic Winter Games open.

Surrounded by an orchestra and the Olympic athletes, Bocelli delivered an unforgettable performance of “Nessun Dorma” as the Olympic flame was carried into San Siro Stadium. His performance culminated in the flame’s exit from the stadium, a symbolic moment opening the Games beyond the venue. The performance served as a powerful reminder of how music can be a shared language, echoing the athletes’ journeys and stories.

Bocelli made his Olympic debut at the Closing Ceremony of the Torino 2006 Winter Games, remaining a key figure for the Italian Olympic Games two-decades later. Music emerged as a universal language in this year’s program, celebrating unity through diversity for a truly shared experience, becoming an integral part of the story that unites sport, art, and culture, in the spirit of the Olympic values of dialogue and sharing.

Bocelli’s 2026 Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour, celebrating his widely-acclaimed 1997 breakthrough album Romanza, officially kicks off tonight in Columbus, OH. The tour, presented by global wealth management and investment banking firm, Stifel, will feature many of his famed songs live, including timeless songs like Con Te Partirò.

Produced by AEG Presents, the 2026 Romanza 30th Anniversary Tour will see Bocelli perform in iconic venues across the world, including his return to Madison Square Garden for two nights in New York City, The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, CO, Bell Centre in Montreal, QC, TD Garden in Boston, and more. Internationally, the tour will see Bocelli perform in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Venice, Italy, Gdansk and Warsaw, Poland, and Vienna, Austria. For more information and tickets, please visit https://www.andreabocelli.com/tickets.

Romanza became a global phenomenon upon its release in 1997, selling more than 20 million copies worldwide. The record earned Platinum and Diamond certifications in over 20 countries, including Triple Platinum in the United States and Diamond status in Canada. It is both the best-selling Italian-language album and the best-selling predominantly non-English language album of all time. Romanza also topped the charts in 11 countries and reached the top of Billboard’s U.S. World Albums and Top Catalog Albums charts.

Maestro Andrea Bocelli is the most successful classical artist of all time who has sold nearly 90 million records and amassed over 25 billion streams since rising to fame after winning the 1994 Sanremo Music Festival. Renowned for his interpretations of major operatic works under legendary conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Seiji Ozawa, and Zubin Mehta, he has earned six Grammy and six Latin Grammy nominations and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bocelli has performed for four Presidents of the United States, four Popes, the British Royal Family, and at global events around the world including the Olympic Games and World Expos. He also founded the Andrea Bocelli Foundation to advance education and healthcare worldwide. His 2020 Easter performance at Milan’s Duomo became one of the most-watched classical livestreams in history, offering an uplifting message of love, healing and hope.

Thrash Metal Legends EXODUS Finally Release Brutal Video For “3111”

Published

on

Just last week, Bay Area thrash legends EXODUS announced their 12th studio album, Goliath. Their first album with singer Rob Dukes since 2010, the band’s Napalm Records debut, and the follow-up to their highest-charting record ever will be out March 20, 2026! Along with it, the band revealed the massive opening track “3111”—whose video couldn’t be released due to the footage being too brutal for YouTube.

Gary Holt about the video:
“So here it is, time to share the full, uncensored version of the video for 3111! If you put it in movie terminology, we have the PG, PG13, and with this one, the rate R version! With YouTube flagging what we consider the PG13 version repeatedly with threats of losing our page permanently (which to be honest contains nothing you can’t find on YT already), we decided to really push it and include all the scenes we KNEW they would not allow! So here’s the full video, with its own website to view! Enjoy!”

Set around the drug war in Mexico’s Ciudad Juárez, sinister “3111” is an intense song showcasing not only EXODUS’ ever-increasing dynamic approach, even decades into their historic reign, but also their willingness to go exactly where it hurts. Therefore, the band spared no effort to make the video accessible to fans. A censored version is now up on YouTube, while a new website has been set up to show the merciless brutality of “3111” in its true form: http://exodus3111.com/

EXODUS on “3111”:
“We decided to go hard with the leadoff single, ‘3111’. The song is about the narco killings in Juarez, and ‘3111’ is the estimated number of murders for 2010 alone.”

Watch the Official Censored Version of the Music Video for “3111” HERE!

Emerging hungrier than ever in 2026, with GoliathEXODUS reinforces their eternal foothold at the top of thrash metal’s hierarchy with 10 of their most diverse, anthemic emissions to date. Further fueled by the widely embraced return of iconic late-era frontman Rob Dukes—first appearing on 2005’s Shovel Headed Kill Machine—the album boasts what the band describes as the performance of his life. Goliath is EXODUS’ most collaborative record in their four decade-plus history, featuring songs written by several band members and guest contributions from Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) and violinist Katie Jacoby.

Flurried dueling solos, an isolated bass excursion, rigorous drum dexterity and a blend of both gritty vocal passages and cutting chants combine to serve as yet another prime example of the band’s ever-evolving musical mastery.

EXODUS on the new album Goliath:
“Are we excited for this record? That’s an understatement. We put everything we had into this record (and its 80 percent complete follow-up, but we’ll save that conversation for another day!) and it’s one of our proudest accomplishments. Wildly collaborative, the most band centric album to date with four songs written by Lee, lyrics by Gary, Rob, Lee and Tom, and just killer all the way around. The time to let the monster loose is coming! Bow Down!”

Pre-Order Your Copy of Goliath HERE

Goliath wastes no time proving as massive as its name, with a sinister introduction opening “3111”. Ode to owning one’s own volatility “Hostis Humani Generis” features a palpable lyrical delivery from Rob Dukes that cuts like crystal amid frenetic riffs, before rolling into “The Changing Me”. The track’s introductory notes cascade into hair-raising rhythms, forming one of the band’s most anthemic offerings – blending menace and melody with the cleans of guest Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) together with Tom Hunting and at the end both Peter and Robb scream off the song. Harmonic dual axe acrobatics from resident guitar legends Gary Holt and Lee Altus. “Promise You This” incites mosh pit treachery with explosive energy, cyclonic riffs and turbocharged soloing from Holt and Altus, prior to colossal title track “Goliath” simmering the tempo down with winding, malevolent leads, towering drums and ominous string work from Katie Jacoby coupling with intricate guitars. The album standout showcases the band’s ever-increasingly dynamic approach, even decades into their historic reign. Tracks like “Beyond The Event Horizon” and “2 Minutes Hate” provide EXODUS’ trademark deadly dose of thrash theatricality – the latter boasting one of the album’s most grimacing, grooving pit primers – while undeniably 90s-tinged metallic charm attacks alongside drummer Tom Hunting and bassist Jack Gibson’s unmistakable rhythmic rage on tracks like “Violence Works”. The nearly eight-minute epic “Summon Of The God Unknown” turns the danger dial to max capacity, setting the stage with a wicked introductory passage before traversing a variegated passage of trudging riffs and heavy metal melody. Power packed closer “The Dirtiest Of The Dozen” wraps the album on a manic high, showcasing EXODUS pulling out all the stops on all instruments.

Produced by EXODUS, mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis (Whitechapel, Nile, Undeath), Goliath beams with the explosive authenticity that has set EXODUS eons apart from their peers since the release of their debut, 1985’s groundbreaking thrash blueprint Bonded By Blood. 40 years later, EXODUS are steadfast in their refusal to settle for the safety of mediocrity, fearing nothing and no one and continuing to forge their trademark just as resolutely as they did in their fruition.
