“The White Lotus” Season 4 Expands Cast With Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina
The White Lotus is continuing to build out its cast for Season 4.
Marissa Long, Helena Bonham Carter and Chris Messina have signed on to join the next installment of the Emmy-winning HBO series from creator Mike White. Deadline previously reported that Bonham Carter and Messina were in talks, with sources now confirming their involvement.
Details surrounding the characters — as well as the season’s overarching storyline — are being kept under wraps. As previously announced, the new season also stars Alexander Ludwig, AJ Michalka, Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards.
True to the anthology’s established format, Season 4 will once again follow a new ensemble of wealthy guests and hotel employees over the course of a week at a White Lotus luxury resort, using dark comedy and satire to explore power dynamics, privilege and interpersonal tension.
HBO has yet to reveal the season’s setting or premiere window.
